Sports ARL Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sports ARL ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sports ARL is an online directory that helps families discover youth sports leagues, clinics, and programs in the Arlington, Virginia area and surrounding communities. We provide information about programs and offer a Premium subscription with additional features including saved favorites, registration alerts, and advanced search filters.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.

4. Premium Subscription & Payments

Sports ARL offers a Premium membership at $4.99/month. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Your subscription begins on the date of purchase and automatically renews each month until cancelled. By providing your payment information, you authorize Sports ARL to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. Sports ARL does not store your credit card or payment information on our servers. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Consumer Terms.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period—you will retain access to Premium features through that date.
• Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We do not offer partial-month refunds.
• Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and notify you by email. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable retry attempts, your account will be downgraded to the free plan and you will lose access to Premium features, including saved alerts and deadline notifications.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers.

5. Accuracy of Information

Sports ARL strives to provide accurate and up-to-date league information. However, league information is subject to change without notice, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any league details, registration dates, or pricing. Sports ARL is not responsible for missed registrations, incorrect information, or changes made by league organizers. Always confirm details directly with the league organizer before registering.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools (bots, scripts, etc.) to access or download league data
• Copy, reproduce, or republish our database of leagues, registration dates, or contact information in whole or in part
• Create a competing sports directory using data obtained from Sports ARL
• Systematically download or export league information for commercial purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Reverse-engineer our database structure, categorization system, or methodology

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., league registration pages). Sports ARL is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those sites.

9. Limitation of Liability

Sports ARL is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sports ARL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed registrations, incorrect information, or unavailability of the Service.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Sports ARL shall be resolved in the courts of Arlington County, Virginia.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sports ARL, LLC regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
